Chelsea are the Premier League’s top spenders this summer with the bulk of their business done and attention is now turning to sales.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They have already made \u00a3160m from player sales in this window. Only Newcastle (\u00a3244m) and Aston Villa (\u00a3202m) have generated more from outgoings.<\/p>\n

But do not be surprised if Chelsea end the summer window as the league’s top sellers once again after recouping a record \u00a3314m one year ago.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have a squad of more than 40, according to the club website, and there are expected to be a number of exits in the final three weeks of the window.<\/p>\n

Which defenders could leave?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Xabi Alonso wants to cut his number of centre-back options down to five, and he currently has nine.<\/p>\n

Trevoh Chalobah <\/strong>has already left to join Como in a deal worth up to \u00a330.8m. Benoit Badiashile <\/strong>and Axel Disasi <\/strong>are likely to join him through the exit door.<\/p>\n

Napoli have so far indicated they are willing to pay around \u00a320m all in for Badiashile in a deal that would see him move on an initial loan with an option to buy.<\/p>\n

However, the Blues value Badiashile at \u00a330m. He has four years left on his contract.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Chelsea will be seeking at least \u00a325m for Disasi, who spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham.<\/p>\n
