Alejandro Garnacho wasn\u2019t exactly a fan favourite during his time at Chelsea, and it seems as if the general consensus is out on him across football.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alejandro Garnacho<\/a>\u2019s time at Chelsea was frustrating, as he struggled for form and starting minutes, making just 14 Premier League starts. The Blues handed him an opportunity after struggling with Manchester United, managing just eight goals and four assists in 43 total appearances. <\/p>\n

Unai Emery\u2019s Aston Villa snapped Garnacho up on a season-long loan<\/a> with an easily achievable obligation to buy, structuring a total package worth around \u00a342.5m. <\/p>\n

The move was finalized after Garnacho wasn\u2019t fancied by new Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso and was left out of Argentina\u2019s World Cup squad.<\/p>\n

His Aston Villa career started with mixed pre-season fortunes. After debuting in a 3\u20131 win over Indonesia All Stars, where he set up an early goal and posted that he was \u201cenjoying football again\u201d, disaster struck in Thailand, as he was forced off during the first half against BG Pathum.<\/p>\n

Alejandro Garnacho misses an open goal in training<\/h2>\n

In a training video originally posted by Aston Villa\u2019s official account, Alejandro Garnacho can be seen missing an open goal from a matter of yards in training. <\/p>\n

The footage sparked a wild reaction online and was seen by over 1 million people on X. <\/p>\n

One fan had this to say: \u201cAston Villa must be delighted realising it\u2019s just a loan deal.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s definitely going back to Cobham after the loan<\/em>,\u201d another fan said. <\/p>\n

This fan was mortified: \u201cI cannot stop laughing at this. Worse than anything I\u2019ve seen before.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cChelsea, what did you do to this boy?\u201d<\/em> This fan questioned Chelsea over his ability.<\/p>\n

It was that bad that this fan couldn\u2019t believe his eyes: \u201cThis can\u2019t be real.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
