Manchester City or any other club have until 5pm on Friday to sign Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandez is seeking a new challenge<\/a>, but Chelsea<\/a> have set suitors a very short deadline to complete a deal.<\/p>\n

With a valuation of \u00a3120m, a transfer looks tricky and it would now not be a surprise if the midfielder remained at Stamford Bridge<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chelsea fans name Alex Scott, Fabian Ruiz, Adam Wharton and more as potential replacements for Enzo Fernandez<\/h2>\n

Since the start of the transfer window, Chelsea have been linked with the likes of Alex Scott<\/a>, Fabian Ruiz and Adam Wharton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In fact, it has even been reported that Chelsea have had one bid for Scott rejected<\/a>. Whether they go back in for Scott remains to be seen, but it is clear that supporters would welcome the Bournemouth man or any of the other names above to Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

When The Chelsea Chronicle<\/strong> asked supporters on TalkingPoints<\/a> who their dream Fernandez<\/a> replacement would be, these were the responses:<\/p>\n

Evidently, Scott would be a very popular addition, which is hardly a surprise after an impressive 2025\/26 campaign.<\/p>\n

However, in this market, you would expect Bournemouth to demand \u00a3100m for Scott<\/a> or possibly even more.<\/p>\n

Palace definitely value Wharton at \u00a3100m<\/a>, while Elliot Anderson also cost a similar fee during this transfer window after joining Manchester City from Nottingham Forest. Tottenham Hotspur also had to pay \u00a3100m to sign Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United.<\/p>\n

Fabian Ruiz should be Chelsea\u2019s priority<\/h2>\n

Out of all of those names, Ruiz should be Chelsea\u2019s No.1 target to replace Fernandez if the Argentine joins City or someone else before Friday\u2019s deadline.<\/p>\n

Ruiz is the most experienced, but more importantly, he is arguably the best out of the three and has demonstrated that on the biggest stage.<\/p>\n

The Spain international keeps things ticking in Paris Saint-Germain\u2019s midfield, bossing possession for the European champions. Chelsea would be a more dominant side with him in it.<\/p>\n
