Fikayo Tomori has not been on Chelsea\u2019s books since 2021, however his next transfer could inadvertently cost his former club big money.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tomori<\/a> has come on leaps and bounds since moving away from Stamford Bridge, with him currently featuring at AC Milan.<\/p>\n

His impressive performances in Italy have seen him linked with a return to Chelsea<\/a> in the past, however now he finds himself out of the picture at the San Siro.<\/p>\n

Fikayo Tomori could cost Chelsea \u00a315m<\/h2>\n

Even though Blues supporters would happily see Tomori return to the club<\/a>, he is currently strongly linked with Benfica.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese side have also been interested in signing Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo<\/a>, however it is unlikely they bring in two options for the same position.<\/p>\n

It could therefore be a significant blow to the Blues, with Fabrizio Romano stating that Benfica have enquired into Tomori as a replacement for Antonio Silva.<\/p>\n

He said on his YouTube<\/a>: \u201cBenfica asked the player\u2019s agents for Tomori a few days ago, but at the moment the salary demands are very, very high. However, Benfica is looking for a centre-back because Antonio Silva left, and Tomori is one of the players Benfica has wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Blues have set a \u00a315m price tag to part ways with the defender, a significant amount of money for a side who are pushing for player sales.<\/p>\n

Tosin sale could set Chelsea back again<\/h2>\n

Chelsea have looked to address the lack of experience in the first team squad this summer under the instruction of new manager Xabi Alonso<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This has seen Danny Welbeck<\/a> and Jordan Henderson<\/a> join the club, with their role off the pitch set to be as important as their one on it.<\/p>\n

Tosin remains one of the more experienced players in the squad though, and letting him leave could have a significant impact on some of those who have looked up to him in the dressing room.<\/p>\n

Cole Palmer<\/a> would likely be the one impacted the most, given he has proven to have a very strong relationship with him.<\/p>\n
