Mykhailo Mudryk could leave Chelsea on loan before the transfer window closes, with Coventry City being a possible destination for the wide man.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chelsea have decided that Mudryk will definitely not be sold<\/a> this summer, but they acknowledge that he needs regular game time and is unlikely to get that at Stamford Bridge<\/a> this season.<\/p>\n

Xabi Alonso<\/a> has Morgan Rogers, Jamie Gittens, Pedro Neto and Geovany Quenda, who can all play on the left flank.<\/p>\n

Mudryk missed Chelsea\u2019s last pre-season game<\/a> against Real Sociedad, and it now looks like he will leave the club on loan.<\/p>\n

A report from TEAMtalk<\/a> has claimed that Coventry are pushing to sign the 25-year-old for the season.<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, Chelsea are very open to Mudryk joining Coventry after being impressed by their style of football under Frank Lampard<\/a>. The Blues believe the Coventry Building Society Arena could be the perfect environment for Mudryk to start rebuilding his career.<\/p>\n

Mudryk\u2019s ban could not have come at a worse time, as the Ukrainian was finally starting to find some form at Chelsea.<\/p>\n

He had mostly struggled following his big-money move from Shakhtar Donetsk, but under Enzo Maresca<\/a>, we were starting to see why the club had not given up on him.<\/p>\n

Mudryk really shone against Heidenheim<\/a> in the Conference League<\/a>, which was his final game before being suspended.<\/p>\n

The Ukraine international scored one goal, created one big chance and registered two key passes. Heidenheim are not the strongest side in Europe, but it was an encouraging performance, nevertheless.<\/p>\n

Lampard has spoken very highly of Mudryk<\/a> in the past after working with him during his time as Chelsea\u2019s caretaker manager. With Coventry having just been promoted, there is no doubt that Lampard would take a player of Mudryk\u2019s quality. <\/p>\n

All in all, this could be a very good loan move for all parties.<\/p>\n
