Chelsea will still feel as if they have a lot of work to do when it comes to player exits this summer, with one forward destined to leave the club still.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a lucrative summer which has seen the likes of Morgan Rogers<\/a>, Maxence Lacroix<\/a> and Marco Palestra<\/a>, attention has now turned to cutting down the numbers from the bloated squad.<\/p>\n

Marc Guiu will definitely leave Chelsea this summer<\/h2>\n

There need to be some exits in attack too, with Marc Guiu<\/a> one of the players who is a long way from featuring at Stamford Bridge this season.<\/p>\n

Despite no club currently in strong discussions to sign the Spaniard, Rob Pratley has stated that is no opportunity for the striker to remain at the club this season. <\/p>\n

He said via Si Phillips\u2019 Substack<\/a>: \u201cMarc Guiu one way or another will leave before the deadline. He won\u2019t just sit in the reserves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guiu made eight Premier League appearances last season, however didn\u2019t find the net in the competition and didn\u2019t offer any threat to Joao Pedro\u2019s<\/a> place in the side.<\/p>\n

The Blues have the Brazilian, Liam Delap, Nicolas Jackson and new signing Danny Welbeck competing for minutes up front.<\/p>\n

Delap is another who is expected to leave this summer<\/a>, after managing just two goals in all competitions in his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

Chelsea will surely make a profit on Marc Guiu<\/h2>\n

Guiu has briefly been linked with joining Sunderland<\/a>, after he spent a very brief stint on loan there at the start of last season.<\/p>\n

Chelsea will back themselves to make a profit on Guiu after bringing him in for a bargain \u00a35m from Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Things may have not worked out for him at Stamford Bridge, but the youngster has shown a work-rate and all-round technical skillset which a number of clubs would benefit from.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if a newly-promoted side decides they need to add more firepower to their squad to survive in the Premier League, similar to how Sunderland tried with Guiu before he was recalled.<\/p>\n
