Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has attracted interest from some huge European clubs this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Right now, Manchester City are Fernandez\u2019s<\/a> biggest suitors despite missing Chelsea\u2019s<\/a> self-imposed deadline to sign the Argentine.<\/p>\n

However, Fernandez had also attracted interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid have since shut down rumours about Fernandez<\/a> and a potential move to the Santiago Bernabeu, but their fiercest rivals are now being linked with him.<\/p>\n

Barcelona interest shows how valuable Enzo Fernandez is<\/h2>\n

Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea<\/a> that Barcelona have shown interest in signing Fernandez.<\/p>\n

Not every footballer can say they have attracted interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, City and PSG in the same year.<\/p>\n

It shows just how valuable Fernandez is in this market. There are not too many midfielders in football who can do what the 25-year-old can do, and the elite clubs recognise that.<\/p>\n

Fernandez is world-class in possession. He always shows for the ball and can find his teammates from anywhere on the pitch.<\/p>\n

As well as being an excellent passer of the ball, though, Fernandez can also score goals. Last season, he scored 15 goals in 54 appearances.<\/p>\n

The likes of Sandro Tonali and Elliot Anderson do not have that kind of goalscoring capability but still cost \u00a3100m. It is no surprise that Chelsea have laughed off the idea of selling their World Cup<\/a> winner for just \u00a385m.<\/p>\n

What they have in Fernandez is a very rare and gifted midfielder, which is why City and Barcelona want him.<\/p>\n

Too late to sell Enzo Fernandez<\/h2>\n

Given that a midfielder of Fernandez\u2019s profile is such a rare commodity, replacing the Argentina international is going to be nearly impossible, especially this late in the transfer window.<\/p>\n

Based on that alone, Chelsea would be mad to sell him now. They are also going to look quite weak and spineless if they sanction a deal after telling everyone in the media that the deadline to sign Fernandez is gone.<\/p>\n

You cannot rule it out, but BlueCo would be silly to sell Fernandez during this transfer window.<\/p>\n
