Tottenham have confirmed the signing of winger Savio from Manchester City in an \u00a385m deal.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports News <\/em>understands Spurs will pay an initial \u00a375m for the 22-year-old, with a further \u00a310m available in add-ons.<\/p>\n

It is understood that \u00a35m of the potential bonuses are effectively guaranteed, meaning City could receive at least \u00a380m from the deal.<\/p>\n

‘De Zerbi is one of the best managers in the world,’ says Savio<\/h3>\n

Speaking in a statement released by the club, Savio said: “It’s taken a while but I’m very happy to be here.<\/p>\n

“It’s a wonderful opportunity at a brilliant club with one of the best managers in the world.<\/p>\n

“As soon as I spoke to the head coach I knew I had to come. He told me he wants to help me reach the highest level, and I believe we can do that together, as a team.”<\/p>\n

Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi added: “Savio is a player who brings energy, imagination and quality in wide positions. He has the courage to attack defenders and the ability to change a game with his creativity.<\/p>\n

Savio secured, Marmoush next?<\/h3>\n

Sky Sports News<\/em> reported on Friday that Tottenham are very close to finalising a deal with Manchester City for Omar Marmoush.<\/p>\n

Advanced negotiations are ongoing and progressing in the right direction, with Marmoush on board with the move.<\/p>\n

However, City head coach Enzo Maresca confirmed that Jeremy Doku has an injury and, with Savio already joining Spurs for \u00a385m, City are currently short of forward options.<\/p>\n

Marmoush was an unused substitute during City’s 2-1 win against Bournemouth in their Premier League opener but did feature in the Community Shield loss to Arsenal, playing 37 minutes off the bench in the 3-0 defeat.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
