Despite the deadline Chelsea set for Enzo Fernandez to be sold passing, it is becoming increasingly likely that the midfielder will depart Stamford Bridge this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandez practically blanked the Chelsea supporters<\/a> on Monday night following a 3-2 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage.<\/p>\n

Chelsea considering shock move for Sander Berge<\/h2>\n

It is almost certain that Chelsea<\/a> will dip into the transfer market if Fernandez<\/a> is sold, with the Blues now being linked with a surprise swoop for Fulham\u2019s Sander Berge.<\/p>\n

Journalist Simon Phillips has stated on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea<\/a> that it is not known whether the club actually consider Berge as a replacement for Fernandez.<\/p>\n

According to Phillips, Bournemouth\u2019s Alex Scott is still Chelsea\u2019s No.1 target to replace Fernandez if he does depart.<\/p>\n

However, the journalist understands that Berge is being looked at, with the possibility of Chelsea signing two new midfielders not being completely ruled out.<\/p>\n

Berge had a lot of praise for Chelsea<\/a> before their trip to Craven Cottage, claiming that they have a team of \u201cworld-class\u201d players.<\/p>\n

That at least looked to be the case in attack, as Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Joao Pedro all managed to get their names on the scoresheet on Monday night.<\/p>\n
