Business between Chelsea and Aston Villa has continued this summer with the sale of Nicolas Jackson to Villa Park, and their supporters are all in agreement about the signing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Blues spent a club-record fee to bring in Morgan Rogers<\/a> from Villa earlier this summer, with Alejandro Garnacho<\/a> moving the other way, originally on loan. <\/p>\n

Jackson<\/a> was given a brief chance to impress under Xabi Alonso<\/a>, however the stance has remained the same that the Spaniard is happy going into the season with Joao Pedro and Danny Welbeck as striker options.<\/p>\n

Aston Villa fans react to Nicolas Jackson signing<\/h2>\n

The Senegal international will get the opportunity to link up again with Unai Emery, and this plays a part in why Villa fans are so excited about their latest signing.<\/p>\n

One user said: \u201cWhat a signing for Villa. A far better footballer than Watkins, obviously younger. It\u2019s been a rough summer for Villa. Jackson and Manzambi are two very bright sparks to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cThe one positive. Watkins goes and instantly replaced by someone five years younger. Will praise the club for this deal. He will score more goals in a season than Watkins ever did during his time at Villa. That\u2019s my prediction. Jackson will break 20 PL goals, not necessarily this season but he will.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third stated: \u201cVilla selling Watkins then signing Jackson for a lower base fee + wages. Dream transfer chain for Villa. Jackson is an upgrade on this version of Watkins and 5 years younger.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another claimed: \u201cWhisper it\u2026 Nicolas Jackson is a top player and an exciting signing for Aston Villa. 25 yr-old Jackson with 17 yr-old Brian Madjo as back up? Seems like pretty decent forward planning to me!\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, one user said: \u201cPlenty of people moaning about the Jackson links like he\u2019s some random. Pace, power, constant runs in behind, real threat in the box, works his socks off, and Unai already knows exactly how to get the best out of him. <\/p>\n

Jackson scored 24 goals in 65 games, however clearly delivered more for the first team than just his goals.<\/p>\n

He struck up a particularly strong relationship with Cole Palmer<\/a>, and benefitted from regular opportunities under Mauricio Pochettino.<\/p>\n

Pedro has proven to be one of the best strikers in the Premier League though, and chances at Stamford Bridge were going to be few and far between. <\/p>\n
