Talk of Enzo Fernandez\u2019s move to Man City has grown throughout the week, ever since the midfielder snubbed Chelsea fans at Fulham after the 3-2 win. Now, it is being reported as a done deal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandez trudged down the tunnel at Craven Cottage<\/a> while the rest of the Chelsea<\/a> squad applauded the away support following Monday\u2019s win. It emerged soon after that Man City were readying an official bid.<\/p>\n

City had missed Chelsea\u2019s deadline earlier this month, but that has not stopped City pushing for a reunion between Enzo Maresca and the 2022 World Cup winner. It is said Fernandez<\/a> has agreed personal terms.<\/p>\n

Then, another chapter in the long-term story of Fernandez\u2019s desperation to depart. The midfielder was left out of Chelsea\u2019s squad to face Luton, with reports claiming Fernandez asked not to be included<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Xabi Alonso<\/a> said Fernandez\u2019s omission was a decision made by both himself and the club. Had the likes of Cole Palmer, Reece James and Joao Pedro not been involved, it might have been passed off as a rest.<\/p>\n

But Palmer played 90 minutes, while James lasted almost 70. Pedro came on as a sub, making Fernandez\u2019s absence clearly a transfer-related issue. Now, Argentine outlet TyC Sports<\/a> have more information on it.<\/p>\n

They claim that a deal to take Fernandez to Man City is now a done deal. The former Benfica midfielder will join City for a fee of \u00a3120m, and the midfielder will sign a contract until 2032, with an option for 2033.<\/p>\n

Finally, all the signs suggest the Fernandez saga is ending<\/h2>\n

There has been plenty of loyal support for Fernandez throughout the summer. Some sections have been understanding, knowing Fernandez has outgrown the club and deserves to be in the Champions League.<\/p>\n

Others have grown tired of his tantrums. His decision to walk down the tunnel early was the final straw for many. If reports of Fernandez asking to be omitted against Luton are true, he\u2019s burned all bridges.<\/p>\n

All the signs are pointing to one thing: that Fernandez is about to leave Chelsea and join Man City. For the majority of Blues fans, no matter how good Fernandez is, they will be delighted that he is departing.<\/p>\n

Whether the Argentine outlet is correct, or whether there are still complications to sort out, remains to be seen. But it does look as if Fernandez is off and Chelsea will now be tasked with finding a replacement.<\/p>\n

TalkSPORT<\/a> recently said Chelsea have a four-man shortlist. But Eduardo Camavinga looks set to stay<\/a> put, while Bournemouth manager Marco Rose ruled out a move for Alex Scott<\/a> during his press conference.<\/p>\n

That leaves Crystal Palace\u2019s England midfielder Adam Wharton as an option, while Roma midfielder Manu Kone could also be considered by Chelsea in the final days. Emi Martinez, meanwhile, is set to join<\/a>.<\/p>\n
