Last season was almost the perfect one for Chelsea star Estevao Willian, at least individually.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Chelsea<\/a> as a whole did not have anything to celebrate about, Estevao<\/a> had much reason to be happy.<\/p>\n

He was able to make an instant impact in his debut season in England, scoring in big games against Barcelona and Liverpool. As an 18-year-old at the time, that was a huge accomplishment.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for the winger, the campaign ended on a very sour note. He sustained a hamstring injury, which ruled him out of the World Cup<\/a>. Had it not been for that, individually, Estevao could not have asked for a better season.<\/p>\n

Estevao Willian looks sharp despite just recovering from serious hamstring injury<\/h2>\n

Estevao has quickly put that disappointment behind him, while his hamstring injury does not appear to have done any serious damage to the youngster.<\/p>\n

In pre-season, he has been one of Chelsea\u2019s brightest players. Estevao managed to score against Tottenham Hotspur in the Blues\u2019 2-1 defeat on Saturday and could have easily had another goal or two.<\/p>\n

On TalkingPoints<\/a>, The Chelsea Chronicle<\/strong> asked supporters after the game which Chelsea players impressed them. For one fan, the answer was simple:<\/p>\n

On the ball, Estevao is so confident. His first instinct is always to take on his full-back and head to the opposition\u2019s box.<\/p>\n

Estevao Willian should start against Fulham<\/h2>\n

While Estevao is making a good impression right in front of Xabi Alonso<\/a>, Pedro Neto is still on holiday after his participation at the World Cup.<\/p>\n

As things stand, Estevao deserves the nod when Chelsea take on Fulham in their first Premier League<\/a> game of the new season.<\/p>\n

Estevao was definitely one winner from Chelsea\u2019s loss to Tottenham<\/a> and a positive for Alonso to take away from the game. <\/p>\n
