Chelsea\u2019s arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur are looking to make a late move to sign one of their players to help recover from their terrible start to the Premier League season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Chelsea<\/a> fans were thrilled with their opening day victory over Fulham, Spurs currently sit bottom of the league after defeats against Brentford and Newcastle.<\/p>\n

This is despite big-money signings such as Sandro Tonali, Savio and Mateus Fernandes coming in already this summer.<\/p>\n

Tottenham considering late move for Chelsea\u2019s Malo Gusto<\/h2>\n

Spurs are seemingly not done in the market though, and may be about to turn to Stamford Bridge<\/a> to try and solve their woes.<\/p>\n

As per Simon Phillips, the North London club are considering making a late move to sign Malo Gusto<\/a>, who has started both games for Chelsea so far this season.<\/p>\n

He said on his Substack<\/a>: \u201cSpurs are looking into Gusto as well is another late shout I\u2019ve had. Honestly, it\u2019s going to be a NUTS two days now guys and I just can\u2019t call where it\u2019s going and how it will end up. So much can still happen.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Frenchman has impressed Xabi Alonso<\/a> since he returned from the World Cup, and proved his worth with a fantastic assist for Danny Welbeck\u2019s<\/a> first Chelsea goal.<\/p>\n

He has started the season at right wing-back, a position which could be reclaimed by Marco Palestra<\/a> when he returns from injury.<\/p>\n

Chelsea want \u00a375m for Gusto<\/h2>\n

Chelsea also have the option to play Pedro Neto<\/a> at wing-back should he remain at the club. There has been strong interest from Saudi Arabia in bringing him in this summer.<\/p>\n

The Blues would likely not be too keen to strengthen one of their rivals late in the transfer window, although would likely to be happy to receive the transfer fee they are hoping for.<\/p>\n

Chelsea set a \u00a375m price tag on Gusto<\/a> earlier in the transfer window, and given he looks part of Alonso\u2019s plans for the 2026\/27 season.<\/p>\n
