Arsenal have agreed a club-record \u00a355.7m fee with Al Hilal to sell Gabriel Martinelli, with a deal also agreed in principle for fellow Brazilian Gabriel Jesus to depart for Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Martinelli has now been granted permission to have a medical with the Saudi Pro League club and is set to become the biggest sale in Arsenal’s history.<\/p>\n

His move to Al Hilal will surpass the \u00a340m Arsenal received from Liverpool for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the summer of 2017.<\/p>\n

Martinelli’s compatriot Gabriel Jesus is also set to leave after Arsenal agreed an \u00a38.6m deal in principle with Barcelona.<\/p>\n

All sides are now working on the details of the transfer and it is progressing towards a conclusion.<\/p>\n

Plans are therefore being made for the Brazil striker to travel to Spain, which could be as soon as Monday.<\/p>\n

Jesus had also been linked with a move to Serie A side Napoli.<\/p>\n

The Jesus deal may not end Barcelona’s pursuit of Julian Alvarez. Sky Sports News<\/em> has been told they are completely separate. <\/p>\n

Brazil forward Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in a \u00a345m deal four years ago. He has scored 32 goals in123 appearances for Arsenal, but managed just three Premier League starts last season.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old missed most of last year after picking up a knee injury in a January 2025 FA Cup tie against Manchester United.<\/p>\n

Jesus has made 64 international appearances for Brazil but has not featured for the Selecao since November 2023.<\/p>\n

Flick: Barcelona on ‘a good path’<\/h3>\n

Barcelona have been looking to bring in a striker this summer.<\/p>\n

Head coach Hansi Flick said Barcelona are “on a good path at the moment” when it comes to his squad and the club’s recruitment policy.<\/p>\n

“Of course I am happy with my team,” he said ahead of Barcelona’s game against Rayo Vallecano.<\/p>\n

“Deco [football dirctor] is working to strengthen the team. This is what he’s doing. But we don’t have the pressure.<\/p>\n

“Deco has done until now a fantastic job. It’s good to me, just to see the quality during trainings. As a coach this is the most important thing.<\/p>\n

“We are on a good path at the moment.”<\/p>\n

Vieira heading to Hamburg<\/h3>\n

Arsenal have also agreed a deal to sell Fabio Vieira to Hamburg.<\/p>\n

The transfer for the midfielder is expected to be worth around \u00a37.7m.<\/p>\n

Vieira is on his way to Germany to finalise the move.<\/p>\n

With the sales of Martinelli, Jesus and Vieira, Arsenal could bring in around \u00a372m in transfer fees.<\/p>\n

They have already made \u00a345m in sales this window.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
