Como considering Robert Sanchez<\/h2>\n

Como could be about to offer Robert Sanchez<\/a> an escape route out of Stamford Bridge<\/a>, with the Spaniard set to become Chelsea\u2019s third-choice goalkeeper.<\/p>\n

According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, the Serie A club are currently considering making a move for Sanchez.<\/p>\n

However, for the time being, their priority remains a striker after failing to sign Delap.<\/p>\n

Sanchez started the season as Chelsea\u2019s first-choice goalkeeper, but after two bad mistakes against Fulham in the Premier League\u2019s opening weekend, Xabi Alonso<\/a> decided to replace him.<\/p>\n

Following the Fulham game, Chelsea signed Emiliano Martinez, who is now Alonso\u2019s No.1<\/a>. Not wanting to block Mike Penders\u2019 pathway to becoming the No.1 in the future, Chelsea have warned Sanchez that Penders will be Martinez\u2019s deputy as he is groomed to eventually take over and that the Spaniard is at risk of becoming third choice if he remains at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

Therefore, it would be in Sanchez\u2019s best interest to leave Chelsea and join Como if the opportunity presents itself.<\/p>\n
