Newcastle United are closing in on a deal to sign Matias Fernandez-Pardo.<\/p>\n

The Magpies are set pay Lille in the region of \u00a355m for the 21-year-old Belgium international.<\/p>\n

Final details are being discussed but there is hope and belief Newcastle have got their man. Fernandez-Pardo is set to travel to Newcastle on Monday evening to finalise his move.<\/p>\n

Newcastle see the signing of forward Fernandez-Pardo as on a par with that of Nico Gonzalez,<\/strong> who joined the club last week from Man City for \u00a350m.<\/a><\/p>\n

He scored eight goals in 41 games for Lille last season and was included in Belgium’s squad for the 2026 World Cup. His call-up came after he initially switched his international allegiance to Spain, and featured in youth-team training camps, but never made a competitive appearance.<\/p>\n

His arrival will allow Nick Woltemade <\/strong>to leave on loan, with Juventus <\/strong>in direct talks with Newcastle over the German striker.<\/p>\n
