Chelsea have made an official bid for a new midfielder on transfer deadline day as they search for a late replacement for Enzo Fernandez.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandez<\/a> has made it clear he wants a move to Manchester City before the window shuts tonight, with him being left out of the last two matchday squads.<\/p>\n

Chelsea make official bid to sign Lamine Camara<\/h2>\n

The Blues have now turned their attention overseas to look at other options, with Monaco\u2019s Lamine Camara<\/a> emerging as a suitable option.<\/p>\n

According to Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, the Blues have launched an official bid to sign the midfielder, with talks ongoing between the two clubs.<\/p>\n

Camara is stylistically very similar to Moises Caicedo<\/a>, who looks set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury on his first appearance of the season<\/a> against Brighton.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if Chelsea are in the market for more than just Camara this summer, with Fernandez\u2019s exit set to leave a void in their squad.<\/p>\n

Despite how he has treated the club in recent weeks, he remains an incredibly difficult player to replace, and doing so properly in the final hours of the transfer window looks a tough ask.<\/p>\n
