Chelsea were holding out for more than \u00a3120m from Manchester City for Enzo Fernandez, and have got their wish with just over six hours remaining in the transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandez<\/a> has not been seen in a matchday squad at Stamford Bridge since the opening day against Fulham, where some Chelsea<\/a> fans continued to boo their own player.<\/p>\n

This was because of the Argentine\u2019s public desire to leave the club, with Man City the club he had the best chance of joining this summer.<\/p>\n

Man City agree \u00a3125m deal to sign Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea<\/h2>\n

Chelsea made it clear they were not going to accept an offer of lower than \u00a3120m for the midfielder, however late on deadline day an agreement has now been reached.<\/p>\n

As per David Ornstein<\/a>, City and Chelsea have agreed a deal for Fernandez to depart, with his move set to be worth \u00a3125m.<\/p>\n

This makes him the joint most-expensive player in Premier League history, and sees the Blues make a significant profit on the 25-year-old.<\/p>\n

The pressure is now on Chelsea late in the transfer window to bring in a replacement for Fernandez, with time ticking until the window shuts at 11pm.<\/p>\n

Manu Kone and Lamine Camara<\/a> have emerged as leading candidates for the Blues, although neither will cost near what they are set to receive for the Argentina international.<\/p>\n
