Enzo Fernandez kicked his feet until he got his move from Chelsea to Manchester City this summer, but ultimately the Argentine will only do the same again at the Etihad in the end.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fernandez<\/a> had no gripes with leaving Chelsea without time to sign a replacement in midfield this summer, and forced the Blues to use Moises Caicedo against Brighton when he was clearly not fit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It has emerged that the Argentine was refusing to train with the Blues before he got his move, making his situation untenable at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

Enzo Fernandez will eventually kick up a fuss and ask to leave Man City<\/h2>\n

When looking back to when Fernandez made it clear he wanted to leave the club though, it wasn\u2019t City who he desired to join. It was the worst kept secret in football he wanted a move to Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

Jose Mourinho was okay with bringing him in<\/a>, but ultimately it proved that this summer they did not have the financial capability to make the signing.<\/p>\n

For most players in the world, playing for Real Madrid is the pinnacle, however this is especially the case for South Americans. Even Moises Caicedo has admitted this in the past.<\/p>\n

The Ecuadorian has signed a new deal with the Blues though, although Fernandez\u2019s failure to commit his future to the club is not new in his career.<\/p>\n

As Chelsea<\/a> pushed to sign him from Benfica back in 2023, Fernandez downed tools again in order to force through his move, and all the signs suggest we have not seen the last time it happens.<\/p>\n

There is nothing to say Fernandez won\u2019t enjoy a successful career at the Etihad. He shone under Enzo Maresca<\/a>, and will have the perfect circumstances to continue dominating games in midfield.<\/p>\n

However, if Madrid come calling again it can be expected that he is going to play the same games again, and ultimately cause a headache which Chelsea don\u2019t need to worry about anymore.<\/p>\n
