Chelsea and Arsenal played out what was arguably the game of the season so far on Sunday afternoon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It took Xabi Alonso\u2019s<\/a> side just two minutes <\/strong>to score after Morgan Rogers<\/a> found the bottom corner before Kai Havertz equalised.<\/p>\n

Martin Odegaard then gave Arsenal the lead early in the second half and ultimately all three points, but Chelsea<\/a> still put in a good performance.<\/p>\n

Morgan Rogers was worth \u00a3117m fee<\/h2>\n

Chelsea<\/a> came close to the British record transfer fee when they signed Rogers from Aston Villa for \u00a3117m during the summer.<\/p>\n

Some questioned it at the time, but three games into the season and Rogers already looks worth every single penny. Following his goal at the Emirates, he now has two goals and one assist in three Premier League appearances.<\/p>\n

Chelsea look more serious in 3-4-3 shape<\/h2>\n

There is something about Chelsea and playing in a back three. They just look like a more serious team capable of actually competing in big games.<\/p>\n

Alonso said he is going to be flexible<\/a> this season, but if it\u2019s not broken, don\u2019t fix it! <\/p>\n

Chelsea team also looks more physical<\/h2>\n

Despite losing, the Blues really went toe-to-toe with Arsenal at the Emirates in every department. Physically, the Gunners are the strongest team in the division, but they did not bully Chelsea on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Rogers, Reece James and Romeo Lavia used their bodies throughout the game. This is the fittest Lavia has looked in a while.<\/p>\n

Cole Palmer needs to do more in the big games<\/h2>\n

Cole Palmer<\/a> got on the ball a bit more in the second half, but you want to see a lot more from your star player.<\/p>\n

The attacking midfielder has had a strong start to the season, but when was the last time he really dominated a big game? You would have to say the Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain a year ago\u2026<\/p>\n

Chelsea still a bit short to challenge for title<\/h2>\n

There has been some talk about Chelsea possibly competing for the title this season, largely because of their star-studded attack.<\/p>\n

However, compared to Arsenal and Manchester City, they are just not as good in both boxes yet.<\/p>\n
