Chelsea have a chance to quickly bounce back from their defeat to Arsenal when they take on Leeds United in the Carabao Cup this Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With Leeds being Premier League opposition and starting the season quite well, Xabi Alonso<\/a> may not want to make too many changes.<\/p>\n

However, there are at least three The Chelsea Chronicle<\/strong> thinks he should make!<\/p>\n

Pep Chavarria<\/h2>\n

Jorrel Hato has not done too badly in the left wing-back position this season and has even managed to register a couple of assists in the Premier League. But when Pep Chavarria<\/a> came on in the second half against Arsenal over the weekend, Chelsea<\/a> did not look as vulnerable down the left flank.<\/p>\n

He also managed to get forward on a few occasions. Against Leeds in a cup game, this could be the perfect opportunity to give him his second start in a blue shirt.<\/p>\n

Valentin Barco<\/h2>\n

With Moises Caicedo unavailable for selection against Arsenal, many supporters wanted to see Valentin Barco<\/a> start.<\/p>\n

He impressed in the previous Carabao Cup round, but Alonso opted for a midfield pairing of Romeo Lavia and Reece James instead, which did not really work out.<\/p>\n

With all of the above in mind, Barco should get the nod to start on Wednesday. Against Hull City on the weekend, Moises Caicedo could be back<\/a>. But if not, that is another match Barco could be in contention to play in if he performs in the Leeds tie.<\/p>\n

Danny Welbeck<\/h2>\n

Like Barco, Danny Welbeck<\/a> also played well against Luton Town in the second round, scoring against Jack Wilshere\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

He is a very capable striker, so Chelsea fans will want to see a bit more of him, especially in games they are losing like Sunday\u2019s.<\/p>\n

You can also add Estevao Willian to this list, but it is almost guaranteed that the Brazilian will start, especially after his cameo against Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Estevao almost beat David Raya<\/a> with a fantastic strike towards the end of the London derby. <\/p>\n
