Joe Cole has been speaking about one of Chelsea\u2019s summer signings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Blues<\/a> did some great business in the summer transfer window, adding Premier League-ready players to their squad like Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix and Emiliano Martinez.<\/p>\n

Cole has now admitted that Rogers<\/a> has actually surprised him following his impact in a Chelsea shirt.<\/p>\n

Joe Cole describes Morgan Rogers as an \u2018absolute monster\u2019<\/h2>\n

It was in vain in the end, but Rogers managed to score a fantastic goal<\/a> in Chelsea\u2019s 2-1 defeat to Arsenal last weekend.<\/p>\n

It lit up the match, according to Cole, who has described Rogers as an \u201cabsolute monster\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Dressing Room Podcast<\/a>, the Chelsea legend said: \u201cMorgan Rogers, he\u2019s an absolute monster, I didn\u2019t realise. I knew he was a top player, but that first touch of the ball, bang, it just lit the game up.\u201d<\/p>\n

That goal against Arsenal means Rogers now has three goal contributions in as many Premier League games this season.<\/p>\n

He scored in Chelsea\u2019s opening game against Fulham, which was his debut, before assisting Pedro Neto the match after, a 4-3 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at home.<\/p>\n

Chelsea paid \u00a3117m to sign Rogers from Aston Villa, but not much is being said about his price tag at the moment.<\/p>\n

Morgan Rogers\u2019 physicality is unmatched<\/h2>\n

It is not hard to see why Cole has described Rogers as a monster. The 24-year-old is a real athlete.<\/p>\n

First of all, Rogers is 6\u20192\u2033, which makes him quite tall for an attacker. He is also quite muscular, using his strength and height to protect the ball extremely well.<\/p>\n

When Rogers is running with it, there is no stopping him at times. The England international has so much power in his running that he can look like a fast-approaching train!<\/p>\n

It is early days, but Rogers already looks worth the \u00a3117m fee<\/a> Chelsea paid for him. Other players went for similar fees during the summer transfer window and will not make the same kind of impact that an attacker like Rogers will.<\/p>\n

He has enough quality to score 10+ goals in the Premier League for Chelsea this term, while his assist numbers should be similar.<\/p>\n
