Chelsea were able to bounce back from their defeat against Arsenal last weekend after beating Leeds United 6-3 in the third round of the Carabao Cup.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tarik Muharemovic put Leeds in front in the 23rd minute before Brenden Aaronson doubled the away side\u2019s lead.<\/p>\n

However, the introduction of Cole Palmer<\/a>, Morgan Rogers<\/a> and Pedro Neto completely flipped the game on its head. Palmer grabbed a brace to draw Chelsea level, while goals from Neto and Welbeck made it 4-2. Valentin Barco also netted before Welbeck completed the scoring with his second of the game.<\/p>\n

Winners<\/h2>\n

Cole Palmer<\/h2>\n

Palmer came in for some criticism<\/a> after the Arsenal loss but has quickly redeemed himself with his brace against Daniel Farke\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

The attacking midfielder needs to improve his big-game record, but you can take nothing away from his latest display.<\/p>\n

Morgan Rogers<\/h2>\n

Rogers did not score, but he was just as effective as Palmer, registering an incredible three assists.<\/p>\n

Right now, the former Aston Villa man and Palmer are goal and assist machines. What an impact he has made since joining Chelsea!<\/p>\n

Pep Chavarria<\/h2>\n

Defensively, Chelsea have been poor<\/a> so far this season and conceded too many goals again on Wednesday night. However, Pep Chavarria<\/a> was pretty solid.<\/p>\n

The left-back made some good tackles and won his duels. Based on that showing, Chavarria could prove to be a bargain for Chelsea. The Blues paid just \u00a316m for his signature.<\/p>\n

Losers<\/h2>\n

Malo Gusto<\/h2>\n

Malo Gusto<\/a>, is he a right-back? Is he a midfielder? Unfortunately, the Frenchman looks like neither at the moment.<\/p>\n

In possession, Gusto seems very uncomfortable, while his play is so negative. The sooner Moises Caicedo and Marco Palestra are back, the better.<\/p>\n

Jamie Gittens<\/h2>\n

It is not going to happen for Jamie Gittens<\/a> at Chelsea, is it? Gittens is a talented winger, but you rarely see him in positions where he can really attack his full-back.<\/p>\n

His back is often to goal and he just ends up dribbling towards the centre or backwards. It may be a confidence thing or the fact that Chelsea are often up against low blocks. Whatever the case, it was another disappointing outing for the England Under-21 international.<\/p>\n

Estevao Willian<\/h2>\n

Subbed off at half-time, Estevao Willian<\/a> had a disappointing night after big expectations heading into the game.<\/p>\n

He impressed in his cameo appearance against Arsenal but had very little influence in Wednesday night\u2019s match.<\/p>\n
