{"id":4064,"date":"2026-09-10T14:07:40","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T14:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/footballars.xyz\/?p=4064"},"modified":"2026-09-10T14:07:40","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T14:07:40","slug":"premier-league-christmas-fixtures-boxing-day-and-festive-schedule-announced-as-29-matches-shown-live-on-sky-sports-football-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/footballars.xyz\/?p=4064","title":{"rendered":"Premier League Christmas Fixtures: Boxing Day and festive schedule announced as 29 matches shown live on Sky Sports | Football News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div data-component-name=\"ui-article-body\" data-testid=\"article-body\" data-highlight-intro=\"true\">\n<p>The Premier League&#8217;s festive fixtures have been announced for this season &#8211; with 29 matches available to watch live on Sky Sports between Boxing Day and January 7.<\/p>\n<p>England&#8217;s top-flight have announced the festive fixtures more than three months in advance as it &#8220;gives supporters notice to plan and make travel arrangements for a particularly busy time of the year&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>It also follows consultation with the Football Supporters&#8217; Association and representatives from club Fan Advisory Boards.<\/p>\n<p>There will be seven Premier League matches on Boxing Day this year, with <strong>Hull City<\/strong> vs <strong>Liverpool<\/strong> &#8211; kicking off at 5.30pm &#8211; and <strong>Newcastle <\/strong>vs <strong>Man City &#8211; <\/strong>kicking off at 8pm &#8211; featuring as a live Sky Sports double header.<\/p>\n<p>A triple header on Sky Sports then follows on Super Sunday on December 27, with Frank Lampard taking on <strong>Chelsea <\/strong>as <strong>Coventry <\/strong>boss at 2pm. That match is then followed by <strong>Manchester United<\/strong> vs <strong>Nottingham Forest<\/strong> at 4.30pm, then <strong>Crystal Palace<\/strong> vs <strong>Arsenal <\/strong>at 7pm.<\/p>\n<p>Every Premier League club has been given at least 60 hours between their Christmas and New Year fixtures.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sdc-article-widget sdc-article-factbox\"
