Chelsea suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Brentford. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Chelsea<\/a> were completely outclassed in a brutal 3-0 defeat at Brentford, with the Blues\u2019 defense falling apart in the second half. <\/p>\n

Looking at the numbers, it was a total lesson in efficiency. Chelsea controlled 60% of the ball, stacked up 502 passes, and won 12 corners, but they were utterly harmless up front, putting just two of their 12 shots on target. <\/p>\n

Brentford let the Blues have the ball, took their moments, and hit the target 5 times out of 11 attempts to walk away with all three points.<\/p>\n

Xabi Alonso moved to a five at the back to try and counteract Chelsea\u2019s poor goal record last season, but things have seemingly gotten even worse this season.<\/p>\n
