On a weekend where Chelsea were unable to find the net for the first time this season, one of their former players had supporters talking with his goal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nicolas Jackson<\/a> started up front for Aston Villa, scoring their second goal as they piled more misery on Chelsea\u2019s<\/a> arch-rivals Tottenham with a 3-2 victory.<\/p>\n

It was the Senegal international\u2019s first goal in the Premier League for his new side, after previously finding the net in the Champions League already.<\/p>\n

Chelsea fans all make the same point after Nicolas Jackson goal vs Tottenham<\/h2>\n

This comes less than 24 hours after the Blues were dominated by Brentford<\/a>, as they struggled to create any real chances in front of goal in the absence of Joao Pedro.<\/p>\n

Chelsea fans took to social media to berate their club for the mistake they have made, with them clearly preferring Jackson to Danny Welbeck as an option.<\/p>\n

One user said: \u201cChelsea\u2019s mistake was selling Jackson. He could have been both Jo\u00e3o Pedro\u2019s backup and Rogers\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cFirstly, that was superb goal from Nicholas Jackson. Chelsea sold him to buy a 35 years old player, who isn\u2019t even as mobile as him, especially for what Xabi wants from his striker.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third stated: \u201cJackson was never a problem at Chelsea! He was a very good and smart player.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another claimed: \u201cThe thing about Jackson is that you could see he had something about him in his Chelsea days surround him with goal scoring wingers and it\u2019s an even bigger problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, one user said: \u201cChelsea should not have sold Nicolas Jackson. He makes his teammates better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spurs are the side who Jackson has scored the most goals against in the Premier League, with his latest strike making it five against them.<\/p>\n

He has previously scored a hat-trick at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and clearly enjoys inflicting misery on them in the league.<\/p>\n

Chelsea meanwhile are hopeful that Pedro will be fit enough to return to the starting side when the Blues return after the international break against Bournemouth.<\/p>\n
