It is fair to say Chelsea\u2019s start to the season has been turbulent. Some wins, some losses, many goals scored, many conceded. The lack of clean sheets is scary, but Jamie Vardy has praised two players.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chelsea<\/a> might have won four of Alonso\u2019s<\/a> seven games in charge, but they have also lost two \u2013 both coming in away games against London rivals. Chelsea have scored 18 goals, but conceded 14 times.<\/p>\n

There is plenty to fix during the international break. But one thing Chelsea do not need to fix is the connection between the front three. Cole Palmer<\/a>, Morgan Rogers<\/a> and Joao Pedro have been excellent.<\/p>\n

Jamie Vardy would have loved to play with Chelsea duo<\/h2>\n

Rogers is the first player to have a hand in four goals and assists<\/a> since Eden Hazard, in his first four Premier League games for the club. Palmer is back to his best, and Pedro has continued where he left off.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Chelsea fan and Soccer AM legend Tubes on his podcast, Jamie Vardy Is Having A Party<\/a>, England icon Vardy said he would loved to have played alongside Three Lions duo Palmer and Rogers.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbsolutely buzzing. They\u2019d be looking for the runs straight away. They can just pick the ball up in the pockets. I\u2019ll make the run. So, it just gives them a bit more space as well. It just screams goals.\u201d<\/p>\n

Palmer and Rogers are the only two Chelsea players in top 50<\/h2>\n

All the focus is on their goals and assists, and of course Palmer withdrawing from the England squad for the four upcoming Nations League games. But their distances covered and work rate are superb.<\/p>\n

Indeed, only two Chelsea players are in the top 50 players<\/a> for distances covered in the Premier League \u2013 Palmer and Rogers. Yes, they have played more football than their teammates, but it is damning.<\/p>\n

If Chelsea are going to have any success this season, Palmer and Rogers will be absolutely central to that. It is largely the reason why Alonso has strong-armed Palmer into withdrawing from the Chelsea squad.<\/p>\n
