Chelsea have several talented young players in their squad, including Estevao Willian and Josh Acheampong.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is hardly a surprise to hear that the Chelsea<\/a> duo are both attracting interest right now given their talent. Estevao has been linked with a move to Barcelona, but it is thought that the Brazilian is not thinking about a switch.<\/p>\n

As for his teammate, it has been claimed that Manchester City are interested in signing Acheampong<\/a> as Enzo Maresca eyes a reunion with his former player.<\/p>\n

City are not the only side who admire Acheampong<\/a>. Journalist Simon Phillips has reported on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea<\/a> that \u201cmany\u201d clubs are monitoring Acheampong with a view of signing him permanently in the near future.<\/p>\n

However, landing Acheampong will not be easy. In fact, it will probably be impossible. Chelsea\u2019s stance has always been that the young defender is not for sale, and their position does not appear to have changed.<\/p>\n

According to Phillips, Chelsea are still insisting that Acheampong will not be going anywhere. The 20-year-old is also likely to be satisfied at Stamford Bridge at the moment.<\/p>\n

Acheampong has only missed one of Chelsea\u2019s Premier League games so far, making two starts under Xabi Alonso<\/a>. He also played the full 90 minutes in both of the Blues\u2019 Carabao Cup fixtures against Leeds United and Luton Town.<\/p>\n

Chelsea supporters will want to see more of Acheampong after the international break. He hails from the club\u2019s academy, while Wesley Fofana has yet to fully convince.<\/p>\n

Acheampong has the pace and strength to play on the right side of Alonso\u2019s back three. His attributes are perfect for dealing with danger in that right channel between the right-sided centre-back and right wing-back.<\/p>\n

After the international break, Alonso\u2019s backline may need a little reshuffle<\/a> after conceding 12 goals in just five Premier League games this season. If that happens, it could see Acheampong make another start in the top flight, which many of us want to see.<\/p>\n
