The search for new signings never stops at Chelsea, and now an England international has been added to the club\u2019s radar after Arsenal saw a \u00a365m bid rejected in the summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the summer, Chelsea<\/a> spent the best part of \u00a3130m on four new defensive arrivals. Pep Chavarria, Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra and Emi Martinez all joined Chelsea, but the leak has not been plugged.<\/p>\n

A total of 12 goals have been conceded in five Premier League games so far. Chelsea are likely to weigh up some defensive signings; Raul Asencio, Abdukodir Khusanov and other defenders<\/a> are being linked.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are now considering Jarell Quansah transfer<\/h2>\n

Despite his red card against Mexico at the World Cup, 23-year-old Jarell Quansah is quickly establishing a reputation as one of England\u2019s best overseas players. Thomas Tuchel continues to pick the defender.<\/p>\n

There is a reason for that. Able to play anywhere in defence, the Liverpool academy product has starred in Germany with Leverkusen, but Sport Bild claim \u2013 as per Buli News<\/a> \u2013 Quansah is set to leave in 2027.<\/p>\n

The report claims Real Madrid, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all interested in Quansah, with the Reds boasting a buyback clause worth \u00a360m next summer. Arsenal\u2019s \u00a355m bid was rejected in the summer.<\/p>\n

Quansah is set to leave Leverkusen next summer<\/h2>\n

The seven-time England international has already clocked up 50 appearances for Leverkusen, even though he joined the club in 2025. Quansah has starred in Germany, and a big move is incoming.<\/p>\n

Leverkusen are said to want a fee of \u00a360m, the same amount that Liverpool have in their buyback clause, if they are to sell Quansah. For most clubs, his versatility makes him a really worthwhile addition.<\/p>\n

Given Alonso uses a back three, Quansah would provide cover at Stamford Bridge in any of those three roles. Should Alonso switch to a back four, Quansah would also be able to play at full-back on both sides.<\/p>\n

He might be somewhat expensive at \u00a360m, but Quansah is young and English, able to play in multiple positions, and seems to be getting better and better with every season. He would be a brilliant signing.<\/p>\n
