The Carabao Cup is back for the 2026\/27 season, with every first-round tie available to watch live on Sky Sports! <\/p>\n

West Ham<\/strong>, Burnley <\/strong>and Leicester <\/strong>are among those in action on Saturday – and you can follow the goals as they go in from all 29 ties on Soccer Saturday<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Every match from the opening round will be shown live on Sky Sports<\/em>, with clubs from the Championship, League One and League Two entering the competition.<\/p>\n

All the goals as they go in on Soccer Saturday!<\/h2>\n

Saturday’s bumper first-round action begins with Cambridge <\/strong>against Barnet <\/strong>at 1pm, before QPR <\/strong>host London rivals Millwall <\/strong>at 2pm.<\/p>\n

There is then a packed programme of 3pm kick-offs, with Burnley <\/strong>hosting Notts County<\/strong>, West Ham <\/strong>taking on Portsmouth<\/strong> and Leicester<\/strong> facing Northampton <\/strong>among the standout ties.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Swansea <\/strong>meet Birmingham<\/strong>, Sheffield Wednesday <\/strong>host Bolton <\/strong>and Norwich <\/strong>welcome MK Dons<\/strong>, while Southampton <\/strong>travel to Colchester<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Saturday action concludes with Cheltenham <\/strong>against Charlton, <\/strong>Colchester <\/strong>versus Southampton <\/strong>and Rotherham <\/strong>facing West Brom, <\/strong>with those games kicking <\/strong>off at 5.30pm.<\/p>\n

Soccer Saturday<\/em> will also be across the afternoon’s action, bringing you the goals and major moments as they happen from around the grounds.<\/p>\n

The opening round continues on Sunday as Mansfield <\/strong>host Sheffield United <\/strong>at 4pm, with the action concluding with a Devon derby as Plymouth<\/strong> host Exeter<\/strong> on Monday at 8pm.<\/p>\n

The competition will continue throughout the season, with round two taking place in the week commencing August 24.<\/p>\n

The nine Premier League sides in Europe – Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Brighton, Sunderland and Crystal Palace – come in for the third round.<\/p>\n
