Chelsea have been fearing Real Madrid\u2019s ability to sign Enzo Fernandez all summer, however have been handed the boost that he won\u2019t be going there in this transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Real Madrid say no to signing Enzo Fernandez<\/h2>\n

After seeming to miss out on the Spaniard to arch-rivals Barcelona, COPE<\/a> have stated that Madrid have decided not to strengthen their midfield this summer.<\/p>\n

This means they look to be off the table as a potential side to sign the Chelsea<\/a> midfielder this summer, putting an end to his dream move.<\/p>\n

This will give Alonso<\/a> confidence that he could still be able to work with the 2022 World Cup winner, and get the chance to convince him this is the best place for him.<\/p>\n

Madrid will likely be unwilling to part ways with any of their remaining midfielders if they are not signing another, meaning potential signings of Aurelian Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga are now not going to happen.<\/p>\n

There is a clear relationship between Fernandez and Enzo Maresca<\/a>, who will be looking to make an instant impact after replacing Pep Guardiola.<\/p>\n

Recent reports from South America have actually stated that Fernandez is happy at Chelsea<\/a>, issuing more confidence that he could continue his career at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

Alonso will want this saga to come to an end either way, allowing him to construct his perfect XI to take on Fulham in the Premier League curtain-raiser.<\/p>\n
