Levi Colwill has showered his teammate Romeo Lavia with plenty of love following Chelsea\u2019s pre-season victory against AC Milan on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Colwill<\/a> did not feature, but Lavia<\/a> started the friendly and played the entire match as Chelsea<\/a> went on to win 3-0.<\/p>\n

Joao Pedro once again managed to get his name on the scoresheet, bagging a brace before Moises Caicedo topped things off with an amazing strike early in the second half.<\/p>\n

It is only the second time that Lavia has completed 90 minutes on the pitch since joining Chelsea. His first also came in a pre-season friendly against Manchester City two years ago.<\/p>\n

Understandably, Lavia\u2019s teammates were delighted to see him finish the Milan game, including Colwill. On his Instagram<\/a> story, Colwill posted a picture of him and Lavia in the dressing room after the full-time whistle with the caption \u201cproud dad moment\u201d.<\/p>\n

It was a repost of a picture that Wesley Fofana had originally shared with the caption \u201cFirst 90 min\u201d. The Frenchman clearly forgot about the City friendly like the rest of us!<\/p>\n

Colwill also missed Chelsea\u2019s defeat to Juventus<\/a>, but the central defender is not thought to be carrying a serious injury, which will come as a relief to Blues supporters.<\/p>\n

The England international missed practically the entirety of the 2025\/26 campaign because of an ACL injury, contributing to the team\u2019s defensive struggles.<\/p>\n
