Monday night saw Chelsea fans celebrate for a second time over the course of the weekend\u2019s Premier League fixtures as Frank Lampard\u2019s Coventry City secured a second successive win.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lampard\u2019s<\/a> Coventry had endured a difficult start after promotion to the Premier League, but the Sky Blues beat Nottingham Forest in the final game before the break, and on Monday, they smashed Newcastle 4-1.<\/p>\n

Coventry are many Chelsea<\/a> fans\u2019 second team this season, given the presence of Lampard in the dugout. Obviously, that won\u2019t be the case when Lampard and Xabi Alonso share the touchline on December 27.<\/p>\n

Frank Lampard asked if he still loves playing against Tottenham<\/h2>\n

While there is a real feel-good factor over at Coventry, the feeling at Tottenham is anything but that. Spurs may have scored a late equaliser at Man United to draw, but Roberto De Zerbi\u2019s side are yet to win.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Sam Matterface on TalkSPORT<\/a> after Coventry\u2019s win over Newcastle, Lampard was asked if he still loves to come up against Tottenham. He refused to make a quip before saying \u201cgood old days\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s time to keep our feet on the ground. We\u2019ve got Tottenham away next. I watched them yesterday, and I didn\u2019t like it. They\u2019re a good team; they\u2019re playing well with such a quality squad. It\u2019s a tough one.<\/p>\n

Matterface responded: \u201cThat\u2019s strange, I always thought you liked playing Tottenham,\u201d to which Lampard then said he wouldn\u2019t be drawn on his previous rivalry with the North London club while with Chelsea.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, it\u2019s a different era, different days. I\u2019m not going to make any quips; I\u2019m wise enough to know that it\u2019s going to be a very tough football match. I\u2019m a manager now, not a Chelsea player. Good old days.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lampard\u2019s stunning Chelsea record against Tottenham <\/h2>\n

Obviously, Lampard is Chelsea\u2019s record goalscorer. A total of 211 goals in his 648 appearances for the club, with 32 of those coming against Spurs. He also faced Spurs nine times with West Ham and Man City.<\/p>\n

During his 32 appearances against Spurs in a Chelsea shirt, he scored nine goals against Tottenham and laid on four assists. An impressive record, winning 16 times \u2013 exactly half \u2013 of his Chelsea appearances.<\/p>\n

As a manager, Lampard has won twice in six matches against Spurs, with both wins coming while he was gaffer at Stamford Bridge. He has lost his last two, while Everton manager. A tough game for Coventry.<\/p>\n
