The World Anti-Doping Agency agreed to resolve his case earlier this summer, and it sees the 25-year-old immediately available for Chelsea<\/a> once again. The Ukraine ace has since featured three times on tour.<\/p>\n

Brief cameo appearances against Juventus, Milan and Johor Darul Ta\u2019zim will have delighted Mudryk<\/a>, who last featured competitively for Chelsea in November 2024. Behind the scenes, Mudryk has changed too.<\/p>\n

Described as a \u2018loner\u2019 before his ban, it is claimed that Mudryk has been full of hugs and smiles following his return<\/a>. The Chelsea squad were delighted to see him return \u2013 but what do Chelsea do with Mudryk?<\/p>\n

John Obi Mikel orders Chelsea to send Mykhailo Mudryk on loan<\/h2>\n

Immediately after his return, it was claimed that Mudryk was being targeted by numerous clubs. A loan to Strasbourg has not been ruled out, with one loan left after deals for Genesis Antwi and Filip Jorgensen.<\/p>\n

Coventry City are among Mudryk\u2019s admirers<\/a>, with Frank Lampard keen to reunite with the Ukraine talent. It is unclear if Chelsea will choose to loan Mudryk out, as Xabi Alonso<\/a> assesses whether to keep him.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his Obi One podcast<\/a>, former Blues midfielder Mikel<\/a> believes his old side should send the \u00a390m man on loan: \u201cGet him out on loan. Right now, I think that\u2019s the best bet for the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cMake sure they find the best club for him to play, week in week out, because the kid has got talent. You get better by playing games, not training. And I\u2019m sure the club knows they have to do that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mudryk has set Chelsea a deadline<\/a>. He wants a decision on his future by the middle of the month, and we are now approaching that juncture. Alonso can make a clear decision with his whole squad at Cobham.<\/p>\n

Reece James, Morgan Rogers, Malo Gusto, Maxence Lacroix, Valentin Barco and Enzo Fernandez return, and with the whole complement in front of him, Alonso is best-placed to make a decision on Mudryk.<\/p>\n

Romano<\/a> posted this earlier today: \u201cChelsea are open to considering a loan for Mudryk to let him play regularly. Italian clubs and Strasbourg are options. Understand preference is a Premier League club.\u201d<\/p>\n

All the signs are pointing towards a loan exit, and as things stand, it looks as if Coventry might be the side to land Mudryk\u2019s services. Under a manager he knows, in a side where he\u2019ll start, it could be perfect.<\/p>\n
