Chelsea were relentless in their first game back from the international break, picking up a 5-1 win against Bournemouth that saw them make their own Premier League history.
A 10/10 performance from Jordan Henderson was capped off with two fine goals, while Joao Pedro’s second half brace eased any concerns after Bournemouth pulled a goal back.
Morgan Rogers had earlier made it 2-0, as the Blues continued their superb record of starting games strongly in the Premier League.

After Henderson’s first goal and Rogers had made it two, Chelsea were in a 2-0 lead after just two minutes and 29 seconds.
This is the quickest time in Premier League history that the Blues have gone into that lead that quickly. with the previous record being from 2018.
Eden Hazard and Willian had put Antonio Conte’s side 2-0 up within six minutes away from home against Brighton that day, although that record has now been smashed.
Xabi Alonso’s side are making a name for themselves for scoring early this season. The only game they did not find the net in the first 10 minutes, they didn’t score at all against Brentford.
With an attack featuring Rogers, Pedro and Cole Palmer, Chelsea have an unrivalled front three in the Premier League, who have consistently proven they are hungry to get going right from the first whistle.
They will be looking to do the same again when they are back in action next weekend, taking on Everton.
