The Premier League has confirmed John Brooks as the referee for Chelsea’s west London derby against Fulham next Monday.

Chelsea finished pre-season strongly, beating Real Sociedad 3-1 at Stamford Bridge. Morgan Rogers scored on his unofficial debut, while Joao Pedro was able to bag a brace.

Xabi Alonso will be hoping his side can carry their momentum into the game against Fulham, which they are favourites to win.

However, Chelsea have not always had the best results when Brooks has been in charge. In fact, their win percentage is quite low.

What does the future hold for Chelsea if Todd Boehly sells his stake? 🤔

In total, Brooks has refereed nine games involving Chelsea, according to Transfermarkt. The Blues have won four of those, lost five and drawn none, giving them a win rate of just 44.4%.

Hopefully they can claim all three points at Craven Cottage and cause that figure to slightly increase.

After their trip to Fulham, Chelsea host Brighton & Hove Albion at home. After signing Danny Welbeck from the Seagulls, they will at least not have to worry about him for once.

Welbeck has a good recent record against Chelsea, scoring in both league games against them last season.

For now, the focus will be on Fulham and improving their record when Brooks is in charge.
