Willian has high hopes for one Chelsea star, believing that his quality is there for everyone to see.

Chelsea have some talented young players in their squad and could add some more in January. Bournemouth are reluctant to sell, but Chelsea are desperate to sign Alex Scott from their Premier League rivals.

There is still a while before the January transfer window opens, though. For now, Xabi Alonso must work with the talent he has got at his disposal.

Willian tips Estevao to become one of the Premier League’s top players

While Estevao has barely played this season, there is no doubt that he is one of the most talented players in Chelsea’s squad. And his compatriot Willian has backed him to become one of the best footballers in the Premier League one day.

Speaking about Estevao on The Obi One Podcast, Willian said: “He’s top. In let’s say two years’ time, I don’t know, but I think he will be one of the best players in the league. Because of his quality, if he can keep it up, you can see straight away his quality!”

Alex Scott and Lamine Camara are both exceptional talents, but who would improve Chelsea more and why?

In total, Estevao has played just 23 minutes in the Premier League this season. He is yet to make a start in the competition.

Chelsea fans are hoping to see more of the 19-year-old after the international break. They failed to score last time out against Brentford, with Joao Pedro missing that game.

Pedro could also miss the visit of Bournemouth, which would be another reason to include Estevao in the team. But that remains difficult if Alonso persists with his 3-4-2-1 formation.

Estevao can become one of the Premier League’s elite

Estevao, without a doubt, has the potential to become one of the very best players in England one day. He has the skill set to become an elite winger.

Estevao is direct, a terrific dribbler and capable finisher. He has not hit prolific form at Chelsea yet, but some of his finishes have been sensational.

The Brazilian scored a great goal against Barcelona in the Champions League last season, while his strike against Chelsea in the Club World Cup was very Sergio Aguero-esque. He just needs to put all these things together and consistently.
