There is not long to go until the new Premier League campaign kicks off, and there is a lot of excitement at Chelsea right now.

Chelsea have had a very bright transfer window, bringing in the likes of Morgan Rogers and Maxence Lacroix.

Ahead of next Monday’s opener against Fulham at Craven Cottage, John Terry has predicted how the Blues’ first five games will go.

Where will Chelsea finish in the Premier League in 2026/27?

Let’s hear how you think Xabi Alonso will get on this season…

Terry is confident that Chelsea will get off to a good start and beat Fulham 2-1 in their upcoming west London derby.

He shared that and the rest of his predictions for Chelsea’s opening fixtures on his official TikTok.

The former central defender is also backing his old side to beat Brighton & Hove Albion, Hull City and Brentford.

However, he expects Chelsea to draw 1-1 when they travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal in September. Arsenal are favourites for the title, and it was easy to see why last Sunday.

The Gunners completely dismantled Manchester City, who are expected to be their closest challengers this season, in the Community Shield.

The Community Shield may only be a friendly, but City’s performance was still concerning. They are also without their legendary manager Pep Guardiola, who was replaced by Enzo Maresca in June.

Early days, but what similarities and differences have you noticed between Enzo Maresca’s Man City and Chelsea sides?

Maresca wants to sign Enzo Fernandez to strengthen his City side, but Chelsea’s self-imposed deadline for the midfielder to be sold has now passed, making it very likely that he will remain at Stamford Bridge.

Fernandez and Chelsea are looking for revenge against Fulham after losing 2-1 to them in the same fixture last season.

Chelsea had a back four of Malo Gusto, Tosin Adarabioyo, Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Cucurella on the night but will have a very different-looking defence next Monday after the sales of Chalobah and Cucurella. Adarabioyo is also training with a group away from the first team right now.
