Chelsea’s final checks into transfer target Lamine Camara will have left them even more positive about making a late offer to sign him this summer.
Camara has emerged as a late target for the Blues to come into the midfield this season, with there still being uncertainty over Enzo Fernandez’s future at Stamford Bridge.
Monaco want at least £50m to part ways with the 22-year-old at this late stage of the window, with them being left with very little time to sign their own replacement.

However, their sporting director, Thiago Scuro, admitted there was still a chance that Camara could depart the club before Tuesday’s deadline.

It therefore feels likely Fernandez will not be involved again this weekend when the Blues host Brighton at Stamford Bridge.
