Chelsea face Premier League surprise package Hull City at the weekend, with their owner promising them a reward if they are to keep a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge.

The meeting will see the sides currently in third and fourth in the table squaring off, although it is Chelsea who are currently behind the newly-promoted side.

Xabi Alonso’s side have enjoyed an entertaining start to the campaign, scoring eight goals in their first three league games which have included a trip to the Emirates.

Saturday’s opponents are the only side in the Premier League not to concede a goal yet, and including their successes last season they are on a run of six games without conceding.

Club owner Acun Ilicali has made a promise to his players that there is a Las Vegas-style party waiting for them if they are able to extend that run against the likes of Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro.

He said: “Considering the tough game ahead against Chelsea, to everyone who is surprised that we are the only team across the top four leagues in England yet to concede a goal after three games, please remember that we also didn’t concede in any of our three play-off matches last season. So that makes six consecutive clean sheets.”

“And remembering my Las Vegas trip promise before the semi-final, we still haven’t conceded a goal since. All I can say is, if we can keep this going, I won’t send them to Las Vegas… I’ll bring Las Vegas to them.”

The Blues meanwhile will be looking to restore the good feeling that surrounded their start of the season after defeat against Arsenal.

Moises Caicedo is set to be assessed before the game to see whether he can make his first start of the season. He has been desperately missed in midfield so far this season.

Reece James is being consistently used in midfield, and despite impressing there it is clear it is not his best position.

Alonso could look to get more out of him in either a right centre-back position or as a right-back, however he wouldn’t be able to carry out the workload Pedro Neto has been tasked with in that role.
