Chelsea parted ways with plenty of high-profile players over the summer, however one individual who stayed at the club is ‘very concerned’ about his minutes under Xabi Alonso.
Enzo Fernandez was the highlight exit as far as the Blues are concerned, although they also made good money on the likes of Andrey Santos, Liam Delap and Marc Cucurella.
As Alonso begins his time in charge of the first team squad, some players are seeing more minutes than others. Estevao Willian for example has been struggling to break into the side due to the quality of their starting front three.

Jamie Gittens asked to leave Chelsea this summer
Jamie Gittens is another attacker who is yet to really get a chance to impress, after there was late interest from clubs in signing him in the summer.
Simon Phillips has reported that Gittens actually asked Chelsea to leave during the summer transfer window, and he remains concerned opportunities are not likely to come his way under the new manager.
He said: “Kone was keen on Chelsea, and Gittens had actually gone to Chelsea asking them to let him leave on a permanent deal. Chelsea communicated to Roma that they would sell Gittens to them as part of the Kone talks, but Roma only wanted to loan him.
“Our sources have heard that Gittens may well come into the talks with Roma again regarding Kone as Chelsea ponder their options to sign a new midfielder in January. Gittens is very concerned with his game time at Chelsea and his agents started looking for other options late in the window, but it all just became too much of a rush for everyone involved.
“It’s unclear if Gittens is open to joining Roma or not, but Chelsea and Roma will soon hold some more talks, with the subject being Kone and Gittens for a potential winter move.”
Gittens had actually impressed greatly during the early stages of Chelsea’s pre-season campaign, however the signing of Morgan Rogers put a massive doubt over his participation.
The England U21 international has had a torrid time since making his move to Stamford Bridge, and is still yet to score a Premier League goal.
He has simply failed to deliver since his £52m transfer from Borussia Dortmund, and a move away looks best for all parties as Chelsea continue to prioritise the futures of the likes of Estevao and Geovany Quenda.
