Why Alexander Isak’s Newcastle to Liverpool transfer saga is holding up Nicolas Jackson’s Chelsea exit
The Telegraph states that until Isak’s future is resolved, Chelsea aren’t keen on letting Jackson go just yet. If Liverpool signed the Swede, Newcastle may move for Jackson but if Isak stays put, the Reds could swoop for the Blues man. And with Christopher Nkunku nearing a permanent switch to AC Milan, Chelsea believe they can afford to ‘hold their nerve’ over Jackson, who is also on Aston Villa’s radar.
