Unai Emery gives hint on if Alejandro Garnacho will permanently leave Chelsea next summer
Unai Emery has given a big indication that Aston Villa will end up permanently signing Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea at the end of the season.
Garnacho was deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge after the club completed their record signing of Morgan Rogers, leaving Villa looking for a new attacker before the campaign got underway.
Emery brought in the Argentine on loan, with requirements that were described as easily achievable in order for it to become a permanent move.

Unai Emery hints he will sign Alejandro Garnacho permanently from Chelsea
So far though, Garnacho is yet to start a game for Villa, and has been forced to wait until late in games to come on and try and make his mark.
Despite that, Emery stated in his pre-match press conference that they have signed the attacker ‘for a long time’, hinting he is expecting to build into the future with him in mind.
He said to John Townley: “We want him at the same level he was for Chelsea in the first part of last season and in Manchester two years ago. He is a player we have signed for a long time, and we will help him to feel comfortable and confident to get his quality.”
Some concern will have arose after Harvey Elliot found himself in a similar situation last season, where Emery continued to leave him out so he did not trigger a permanent move from Liverpool.

Jamie Gittens could be next out the door
Chelsea decided to build with Jamie Gittens in their squad over Garnacho, however even his opportunities look as if they are going to be limited during this campaign.
The England U21 international was replaced at half-time against Leeds in the EFL Cup, with the Blues scoring six in the second half when the big hitters were on the pitch.
With Estevao Willian and Geovany Quenda’s futures being prioritised, it feels only a matter of time before Gittens’ underwhelming time at Stamford Bridge is brought to an end.
Roma have been linked with a move for the winger, which could facilitate the Blues moving themselves for midfielder Manu Kone.
