Morgan Rogers sends message to Chelsea fans after Blues blow another early lead vs Hull
Morgan Rogers continued his fine form in a Chelsea shirt on Saturday after scoring against Hull City.
It was another early goal for Rogers and Chelsea, but it was not enough in the end, with the game finishing 2-2.
It took Rogers less than two minutes to score in the Blues’ previous Premier League match against Arsenal, which ended in defeat for Xabi Alonso’s side.
Dropped points against Hull… Does Xabi Alonso need to make some serious changes?
Who would you drop from today’s XI?
It is more dropped points for Chelsea following their 2-2 draw with Hull at Stamford Bridge, but Rogers was in a defiant mood after the game.
The attacker took to Instagram to share a post with the caption: “Work to do. Don’t lose the faith.”
Chelsea fans will certainly not be losing any faith in Rogers. Before scoring against Hull, the 24-year-old provided three assists in an epic 6-3 win over Leeds United in the Carabao Cup.
In six games for his new club, Rogers already has seven goal contributions!
It is quite easy to trust Rogers at this moment in time. However, the same thing cannot be said about Chelsea’s defence.
Without Moises Caicedo, Chelsea’s midfield and defence have crumbled and are getting penetrated too easily.
Simply put, Alonso’s team are conceding too many goals. They need three goals or more to win, which is not sustainable.
