Jude Bellingham has one word for Jordan Henderson’s display in Chelsea vs Bournemouth
Several football stars have flocked to Jordan Henderson’s Instagram page to praise the midfielder after his performance in Chelsea’s 5-1 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.
Henderson netted twice, opening the scoring with a fantastic strike just two minutes into the game. He also scored Chelsea’s final goal of the match by dispatching a free kick.

Xabi Alonso was impressed with Henderson, but he was not the only one. Henderson’s England teammate Jude Bellingham and many others have been singing his praises following his two-goal display.
In response to a post Henderson shared on Instagram after the game, Bellingham simply replied with the word: “legend”.
Unsurprisingly, his club teammates also had some nice words to say. Morgan Rogers said: “So, so good.” Moises Caicedo also left the small message of “top” underneath Henderson’s post with some emojis.
When Chelsea signed Henderson from Brentford during the summer, it was a transfer that many questioned. The Englishman is 36 now, a footballer who is no longer in his prime.
Even so, the opportunity to bring him in was always going to be too good to turn down. Henderson was available on a free transfer thanks to an agreement he had with Brentford and ticked so many boxes for Chelsea.
In the summer transfer window, the Blues were looking for players with Premier League experience, maturity and leadership qualities. Henderson has all of those things and can clearly still perform on the pitch.
Henderson’s stats against Bournemouth were really promising. For example, no player covered more ground than the midfielder, who also provided an assist and created two chances.
Hopefully, Henderson can put in more performances like this one going forward. Alonso really needs one of his midfielders to step up and support Moises Caicedo after Enzo Fernandez’s exit and the failure to bring in a replacement. Against Bournemouth at the Bridge on Saturday, Henderson showed that he can do that.
